1 cup frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon wheat bran
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 block silken tofu
1 teaspoon agave nectar
1 handful of spinach
about 1 cup of hemp milk

For lunch today I had take out from No. 1 Chinese! I got the Bean Curd (tofu) HomeStyle today and a veggie spring roll. I decided to go for a different dish today instead of my usually mixed vegetables with bean curd. Today's lunch was on the SPICY side. Yep, I'm not a big fan of spiciness, but I have to admit that it was very good. Even though my lips were still on fire after I was finished eating, I would get it again!

Great looking Smoothie and Chinese food! I am jealous!
ReplyDeleteIf Santa Brings you a blender and he doesn't want to drop $500 on a Vitamix; check out the Blendtec blenders that Bed Bath and Beyond carries. They also send out 20% off coupons once a month so the blender isn't too expensive. You can even make peanut butter with it!!
ReplyDeleteMy blender isn't the greatest, either, so I feel your pain. Glad you liked the Chinese food - I love spicy dishes!
ReplyDeleteI hope you do get a new blender! I have been having smoothies since May ... I wonder whether I will enjoy them as the weather cools off. If I do, I want a new blender too.
ReplyDeleteYour smoothie looks delicious. I bought some chia seeds for the first time a couple days ago!
ReplyDeleteYour smoothie sounds great. If you have a Costco near you check there for a Vitamix. They have a road show twice a year and my best friend just got a Vitamix there for $394.
