Stylish Blogger Award......

Thank you so much Molly (VegnFlower) for the this award. I like to get awards and I love finding out new things about my fellow bloggers (friends)! :o)

The rules for this award are:
1. Make a post & link back to the person who awarded you this award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 10 recently discovered great bloggers.
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them they’ve won!

Here are my 7 random things.

1. My husband is my best friend!
2. I am a very quiet/shy person when it comes time for conversation face to face.
3. I have lived in the same house for 24 years....yes, I am so ready to move!
4. I could easily become a beach bum...I just need to live at the beach first.
5. Oreo cookies are my addiction!
6. I have a sister who is 22 years older than me. Yep, I was a surprise!
7. I really want to go to Italy!
Here are 10 blogs that I have started following recently. I know some of you have received this award already, but I still wanted to mention you. :o)

I also have to tell you that I have the best mother-n-law! She knew that Tony and I were feeling a little under the weather, so she made us some soup with all kinds of veggies in it. She went through the trouble to make the soup vegan, so I could eat some. She scooped some of the soup out for me and then added meat into the rest for everyone else. Now, how awesome/sweet is that? It was delicious and hit the spot!

  4. That's so sweet how your mother in law made vegan soup. I've had to ask "did you use chicken broth?" too many times. I hope it made you both feel better!

I need to start checking out more blogs - I'll take some of your suggestions. I've been too busy to keep up lately, but I need some food-spiration!

  6. Fun list! I have a brother that's 21 years older than me! I always get excited when I meet other people with a similar family age range...not sure why.

Wow, living in the same house for 24 years...that must feel comfy. The longest I've ever lived in the same house is 9 years. I'm with you on the beach bum front too.

The soup looks tasty...just the thing to make you feel better; that was really sweet of your mom in law.

  7. Aw, what a nice mom-in-law! The soup looks so good, it's too bad it had to marred with meat for everyone else. But, it's very thoughtful of her to do that for you.

and 24 years in the same house is a pretty long time, but if you are happy then take your time finding a place. houses are so cheap now though, dont miss that boat if you can. and you were a surprise! thats so cool!! the ultimate baby of the family!

i think it's fun that you've lived there so long. the house i lived in when i was young (and my parents sold when i was 18) - i was always ask my husband if we can buy it if it ever goes for sell, even though it's not even in the same state we live in now! that's how attached i still feel to it.
