For breakfast I had an all fruit smoothie this morning...no greens in it. I used 3/4 cup of water, 1/2 cup cranberry/pomegranate juice, 1 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen berry blend (blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries), protein powder, flax seeds, and a date. My blender doesn't like the dates very much though. I seem to be finding chunks of the date in my smoothie while drinking it. :o) I can't complain though. At least my blender works. :-)
Lunch was a salad. I had a few chickpeas left over from making the chickpea cutlets last night, so I added them to my salad. I'm starting to get a little tired of salads for lunch. I'm in serious need of buying some raw nuts, so I can make some more raw spreads. The only problem is, no one sells them where I live. Does anyone know of a good place to order them on line? I need cashews and sunflower seeds.
